Water Service & Billing The Eldorado Area Water & Sanitation District (EAWSD) provides round-the-clock emergency response. Call (505) 466-1085 or after-hours (505) 780-0090 to report a leak, main break, or other problem concerning District wells, tanks, or transmission lines. The EAWSD Customer Service and Billing Office (operated by CH2M HILL) is responsible for delivering quality service in the areas of utility billing and customer support. This includes customer contact (telephone and walk-in), payment processing/cashiering, credit/collections, meter reading, and billing and new water service fee collection. Meter reading and billing services are provided to EAWSD under contract with CH2M HILL. The contract calls for CH2M HILL to read customer water meters and bill each customer directly for the amount of water consumed. Meter reading occurs on a monthly basis; estimated readings may apply in cases of inclement weather. You may pay your bill at the EAWSD Customer Service and Billing Office during open office hours. (For your convenience, the District provides an after-hours drop box in front of the office; however, the District is not responsible for late or lost payments left in the after-hours drop box).
